Why Sales Assessment is Important

If your business focuses on commerce, you will need to hire a lot of employees to carry out its commercial jobs. Among those employees, salespersons become ones that play the most important role in your business because they are your frontline soldiers who handle your customers.

If your salespersons are skillful workers, you can make sure that your business can gain success faster because its commercial activities can be done effectively and favorably by them, but if they are weak and undisciplined workers, you can hardly expect favorable result from their jobs. Because salespersons play an important role in ensuring and expediting the success of your business, you have to make sure that you hire only devoted and skillful workers to become your salespersons.

To make sure that your salespersons are professional workers, you can do comprehensive Sales Assessment when you recruit them. You can do this assessment mostly during the interview. Therefore, be very careful if you ask the candidates about certain questions because if they become to defensive when they answer those questions, you can hardly get valuable information from the interview.

For example, if you ask them why they quit their previous job, they will answer your question with rather vague answer. If you continue cornering them with another attacking question, they will become more defensive and give you more unclear answer. Instead of asking such pressing questions, try to ask them questions that encourage them to give you creative answers and to lower their defense.

In addition, you should pay attention to several answers that show their professional attitude. For example, if they insist on telling you that they are only available during working hours, and not outside those hours and holiday, then you may regard them as lazy workers. There are many other answers showing such attitude. You have to be aware of those answers.

Choosing A Credit Card Processing Company That Is Right For Your Business

Are you in the market to find a credit card processing company for your business? Are you unsure what feature to look for? Are you not quite sure what you even need? While finding a company that will be a perfect fit can be done, you will need to investigate and compare multiple companies until you find the one that is right for you. Here is a look at the areas that you will want to consider.

Comparing The Cost

Credit card processing fees vary from company to company. It can be a challenge trying to figure out exactly what it is you will be paying for processing services. Companies can charge a variety of fees including an initial contract fee, monthly service fee, per transaction fee, minimum transaction fee and more. Your best bet, especially if you are a new or smaller business is to avoid companies that have monthly minimums, transaction minimums, etc. Usually the most inexpensive contract will be one that offers an interchange plus pricing contract.

Customer Service

Next, you will want to look for a company that offers superior customer service. Before signing a contract make sure you check out the company’s customer service line. Additionally, you may want to ask around to other businesses that use the company to see how they rate the customer service. In most instances, you will want to choose a company that offers around the clock support, provides initial training and is quick to respond to your questions and needs.

Read The Fine Print

When you are deciding between different companies make sure you always read the fine print of every contract. Some companies may claim to have the best rates but when you read the fine print you may find you don’t qualify for the best rates. Many times to get the best rates you need to have a super high volume, a minimum amount of transactions per month and more.

Using the Internet to Make Your Business Succeed

A decade ago, searching for things online is not as easy as it is today. Before search engines came to be, our lives were confined to the distance our feet or vehicles can reach. We chose food and furniture from the shops near us, and go to school at the local university. At the most, newspapers and magazines widened our horizons, but it is only true for the most famous enterprises, and even then its dissemination is limited. The dawn of the internet has greatly cracked this problem. Now, with the few punches on the computer keys and a click, virtually the whole world is at our hands. Everyone now has access to that summer program in France, or the option to buy authentic Italian cheese from Sicily. From exotic vacation to online degree programs, the internet has really created a worldwide network of information sharing.

Those who most benefit from this are smaller and starting enterprises. Back in the days, enterprises became famous through word of mouth or through a smattering of reviews. This is problematic; such advertisement method obviously would take a while to catch on, and may not reach a wide audience. Television commercials or magazine ads are possible, but for most starting businesses, such options are not financially viable. The internet is a blessing for this kind of advertisement dilemma, as it can share your business to the world at a minimum cost. This can be done simply by making a website, and put your business nature and offers, as well as reviews, on it. But how do you generate the most traffic?

Book Review – Mentoring 101 by John Maxwell – Key Lessons For Internet Marketing Coaching

If you share John Maxwell’s passion for personal development, you can understand why mentoring is such a hot subject for him. Maxwell has dedicated his life to studying relationships that foster personal growth.

Mentoring 101 is his study of what makes a quality mentor ‘tick’. His lessons have special application to internet marketing mentoring and coaching for home business owners; key lessons are offered.

Maxwell begins by acknowledging Douglas M. Lawson: “We exist temporarily through what we take, but we live forever through what we give.” Lofty words, no doubt, but Maxwell teaches you how to put them into real life practice. It isn’t the right calling or even the right fit for everyone. It takes work.

A quality mentor has an innate ability to ‘discern people’s success seeds.’ Many people, most of us, need help to fully recognize those ‘seeds’ and grow them to full potential. A quality mentor is not merely an expert in his/her field, it runs much deeper than that.

A quality mentor knows their purpose in life, is continuing to reach that purpose to the max and is sowing seeds to help others do so as well.

The benefit is personal and gratifying both to the mentor and the mentor but it goes even beyond that. As Cullen Hightower expresses it: ” A true measure of your worth includes all the benefits other have gained from your success.”

What makes Maxwell’s teachings pertinent to internet marketing is one of his core concepts that parallels the way internet marketers work to promote their campaigns: “People buy into the person before they buy into their leadership.

Sound like personal branding? Exactly so. People only follow someone who they respect and believe. Establishing credibility is key to establishing yourself first and evolving into the loftier heights where you can be an effective mentor.
