Therefore, be very careful if you ask the candidates about certain questions because if they become to defensive when they answer those questions, you can hardly get valuable information from the interview.
For example, if you ask them why they quit their previous job, they will answer your question with rather vague answer. If you continue cornering them with another attacking question, they will become more defensive and give you more unclear answer. Instead of asking such pressing questions, try to ask them questions that encourage them to give you creative answers and to lower their defense.
In addition, you should pay attention to several answers that show their professional attitude. For example, if they insist on telling you that they are only available during working hours, and not outside those hours and holiday, then you may regard them as lazy workers.
